How much birth control pills influence sex drive and desire varies tremendously from woman to woman. Some see absolutely no effect, and others experience strong side effects that completely ambush their desire for sex. Go to your healthcare provider and discuss trying another type of pill. You may find a brand or combination that doesn’t make your libido lag.
In the meantime, let your husband know that you’re concerned about what the pill has been doing to your desire. You don’t want to keep him in the dark about this. Men (and women!) often blame themselves for their partners being turned off sex when there may be another cause — as in your case, the pill.
I don’t necessarily think so, maybe the birth control pill that you are using is not of good quality or doesn’t suit your body type. I have seen women have normal sex while they regularly take the pills, i recommend changing the pill. Hopefully it works for you.
